Hi there! My name is Victoria, & I specialize in Permanent Cosmetics! I am a licensed tattoo artist by trade, which you MUST have in order to legally provide these services.
This is going to be a STORY TIME..
I’ve always been so fascinated by makeup ever since I was a young girl! By Kindergarten I would cover my face in the roll-on glitter that Bath & Body used to sell back in the day! I would experiment with eyeshadow colors and lipstick combinations! It was art, it was fun, and it was BEAUTIFUL to me!
Unfortunately as a child, I dealt with trichotillomania. This is a condition that stems from anxiety & OCD, and causes a person to stressfully pull out the hair on their body. I would pull out all of my eyebrows & eyelashes. Because of this I struggled with self-image. Makeup then became my security blanket. With this being said, I promise I can understand if your own brows bother you. I always say, we are our own worst critic - so be gentle & kind to yourself!
By my teen years I spent hours watching beauty gurus on Youtube, & learning all the latest makeup tips & tricks! At that time, I thought I was going to pursue a career in healthcare, but my heart always lied in makeup!
I actually went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Microbiology & Immunology, and also a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
I dove into Permanent Cosmetics while I was a student in college! I thought it would be perfect for me to be able to do something I find that is so much fun, while also having the freedom to determine my schedule and my worth! & as a momma, I needed that flexibility while I was in school!
BUT, you guessed it, I chose to STAY with permanent cosmetics after graduating!
I absolutely LOVE what I do! As you know, life comes with sacrifices, and I am so thankful for all that I have learned in school, but this is where my joy truly lies! I now have 2 kiddos, and I get to spend more time with them now than I would have had I chosen other paths!
As for the future, I may return for a Masters program to become a Physician's Assistant, so that I can continue to add to my services one day (injectables, etc.).
To wrap this up, now I hardly ever wear makeup anymore & LOVE my own permanent cosmetics that I’ve had done personally! I’ve grown into my own confidence & I love to share this with other women, as EVERYONE deserves to feel absolutely beautiful!
I’d like to note that these insecurities from the past help me empathize with other women in creating something that is special, unique, and beautiful just for them! My OCD also makes me a perfectionist… I will not move past the pre-draw phase until I am 100% in love with your brows, lips, or eyeliner personally, and would wear them on my own face!
When you book with me, you know you are getting a very personalized experience. I don’t draw the same “look” on everyone, instead I determine the shape based on your own natural structure and in regards to what compliments your facial features best! This is what makes you uniquely YOU! I’m not here to change you, I’m here to “enhance” the natural you! You provide the canvas, and I just add a little color!
